- The Fork it Over fundraiser is coming up on Friday, March 3. It is an adult only evening to raise money for the kids, have fun, and meet other parents. Bring your own drinks and a dish to pass if you wish. We need items to be donated to raffle/auction off. Last year popular items included theme baskets (movie, relaxation, etc) and gift cards.
- The Color Run is starting to plan and needs 3 people to help on a committee. One person is needed to organize technology, one person is needed to assist with solicitations (experience with sales or customer service would be helpful), and a person to assist with gathering supplies and helping the school launch the event.
- Funds Raised: Last year, between Fork it Over and Color Run the PTO raised over $16,000. With some of this money the PTO was able to purchase 30 laptops, a tech cart, and give field trip scholarships.
- Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up in May. A sign up genius will be sent out to donate items for teacher lunches the week of May 1-5. Gift card donations are being accepted for a teacher raffle. Parents are asked to encourage their kids to write notes to their teachers.
- The Service Group will be having students write letters to soldiers. If anyone has personal connections to soldiers we want to know!
- Enrichment: Quest students will be performing the play, Stuart Little, this spring! The performance dates are May 26 and May 27! We would certainly LOVE for our 6th-8th graders to get involved this year in the play (it makes for great relationship building between all of our kiddos)!
