December 1, 2016 Parent Group Meeting Minutes

Dec 1, 2016 Parent Group Meeting Minutes.
6:30 p.m. - 7:10 p.m.

Save those Family Fare Receipts!
SpartanNash is committed to giving back to the communities where our stores are located and our associates live and work. Our Direct Your Dollars™ program is just one example of that commitment. Direct Your Dollars is built on the concept of shopping with purpose, meaning our store guests can support their favorite local nonprofits by doing something we all do each week – going to the grocery store.
Through our Direct Your Dollars program, nonprofit organizations can earn $1,000, simply by collecting $150,000 in eligible receipts from any of the more than 160 SpartanNash-owned retail stores or fuel centers in nine states.
Leslie has a box outside of her office to collect receipts.

Shoparoo

Before you submit your receipt for the Family Fare collection, first snap a picture and submit it to Shoparoo.  ZQuest just got a check from Shoparoo for almost $300.  Leslie demonstrated how easy it is to submit on the Shoparoo app.

Boxtops for Education App

Another app to download!  You can scan receipts and items with Boxtops on your receipt will go to ZQuest automatically.  The bonus - ZQuest gets credit for it when you turn the actual box top in too!

Holidays Around the World

The only area where we still need a volunteer is for the ambassador for Singapore.

Quality Car Wash Fundraiser

Check should be made out to Zeeland Quest.

Color Run

We voted on the wining design for the t-shirt design contest.  It was a tough decision!

Cookie Enrichment

Don't forget that this is being held on Monday.

Upcoming Meetings

January meeting will be held at DeAnna Kraak's house (2148 76th Zeeland)
Looking into a potluck for the February meeting
